Our Investment Data team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional outcomes, and we’re seeking an Investment Data Analyst to ensure the integrity and accuracy of index and reference data that drives investment decision making. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work with internal teams and external partners to maintain data quality, resolve complex issues, and lead process improvements. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential, you’ll engage with multiple stakeholders across the business and external. **This hybrid role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in Melbourne, VIC** What You’ll Do: Deliver accurate index and reference data to support investment decisions and fund oversight. Manage complex daily and ad hoc tasks under tight deadlines, acting as a point of escalation for investment book of record and index methodology issues. Analyse and resolve data issues impacting portfolio management processes. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external data vendors. Collaborate across global data management teams to resolve operational challenges and implement best practices. Participate in special projects and contribute to strategic initiatives. What You’ll Bring: Undergraduate degree in Finance & Data Management, or related field. CFA (completed or in progress) is desirable. Minimum 3 years in a relevant role within financial services. Familiarity with AWS and Python (hands-on experience or exposure). Strong understanding of financial concepts, index methodology, and trade lifecycle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
