Company Description Are you currently working in Private Equity and looking for a role where you can have a direct impact on the performance and growth of portfolio companies? Would you like to combine investment expertise with hands-on collaboration with management teams? We are partnering with an European Group operating in the online retail industry to recruit an Investment Director who will join its central investment team in Warsaw. This opportunity is open to professionals currently based in Poland. Job Description Your responsibilities: Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling financial forecasts across portfolio companies. Develop and maintain KPI frameworks to monitor financial and operational performance. Build financial models and evaluate acquisition and buy-and-build opportunities. Prepare investment papers and recommendations for senior leadership. Work closely with CFOs and management teams across the portfolio companies to drive strategic initiatives and value creation. Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial results. Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: 5–10 years of experience in Private Equity Hands-on experience working with portfolio companies from an investor's perspective, including budgeting, financial performance management and KPI monitoring. Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills. The ability to combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach. Experience engaging with senior management teams and influencing strategic decisions. Excellent communication skills in English; Polish is considered an advantage. Experience in the retail or consumer sector is highly desirable.
