Description

The Investment Management & Wealth Desktop Sales Specialist will be tasked with executing our strategy for long term balanced growth of LSEG’s footprint in the Benelux through their understanding of market and competitive dynamics and driving Sales execution.
The role will require the successful candidate strong direction setting and influencing skills to work with the local Account Management teams to deliver results.
As a subject matter expert, you will act in support of New Business and Account Managers as a Sales Specialist focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for LSEG’s Investment Management & Wealth Desktop proposition in the Benelux territory with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to the Investment Management & Wealth Desktop proposition and serve accounts within a pre-determined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth customer and market insights, needs and problems, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process
  • Execute through strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions, including Product, Marketing, Market Development, Account Management and external partners
  • Provide input to the creation and development of comprehensive business cases based on growth opportunities and ensuring alignment with Refinitiv`s overall strategic direction.
  • Supervise all aspects of key competitors, analyzing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and develop strategies to achieve driven advantage
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on Refinitiv’s Research & Portfolio Management offering
  • Drive thought leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building
  • Strong business acuity and commercial strategy skills
  • Able to influence individuals as well as groups in meetings
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a high performance environment

Your skillset and knowledge:

  • We are seeking someone who has a good understanding of; Financial markets, asset management, Portfolio Analytics as well as buy- and sell-side research
  • Experience in selling into the Benelux market
  • World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
  • Strong sales ‘closer’
  • Significant Product and Workflow Expertise (e.g. knowledge of financial modeling, Excel, MS Office, Portfolio Analytics); knowledge of portfolio analytics or tech / data apps
  • Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
  • Presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate and execute a sales plan
  • Executive presence
  • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
  • Experience selling to C- level executives
