About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi We have a fantastic opportunity for an Investment Operations Analyst or Senior Investment Operations Analyst to join the Investments Group. This role is based in Auckland. Responsibilities include: Performing trade matching with counterparties and delivering instructions to the ACC custodian. Conducting cash and stock reconciliations across various sources and systems. Identifying and resolving settlement issues promptly. Streamlining operational processes while maintaining compliance with internal control standards. Ensuring that ACC Portfolio Managers receive information to enable decision making. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, Senior Investment Operations Analysts are expected to provide coaching and support for Investment Operations Analysts. This is a chance for you to deepen your knowledge and build further on your already established skill set in Investment Operations. You’ll be keen to collaborate with the team of Analysts and one other Senior Analyst to grow capability so that we can get the best results for New Zealanders. About you | Mōu Experience in investment operations is preferred; however, we welcome applications from a wide range of experience levels. You’ll need to have confidence and credibility to discuss issues with your stakeholders and you won't be afraid to question ideas or offer your own opinions. We’re looking for someone with: Investment product knowledge Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking An ability to understand when a sense of urgency is required Willingness to learn and grow Leadership and influencing skills (particularly for Senior Investment Operations Analyst) Tertiary qualification in Finance is preferred Experience using Bloomberg is preferred.
