We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Investment Operations to support our growing backlog of work. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting the Operations function by driving improvements across processes, systems and operational models, as well as bolstering the team to provide Business As Usual (BAU) support when required.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise and investment operations knowledge, with a proven track record of supporting change initiatives through the documenting of business requirements, workflows and target operating models. A key focus of the role will be supporting the implementation of a new Order Management System, ensuring operational readiness and delivering strategic insights throughout both pre- and post-implementation stages.
You will be instrumental in defining scope, gathering and analysing requirements and establishing success criteria for a strategic change programme that will help shape the future of how we operate. You will be expected to challenge the status quo, recommend best practice solutions and contribute to building efficient, scalable and future-proof operational processes.
As part of a wider transformation agenda, there is also the opportunity to support other strategic projects aimed at automating and modernising our operational capabilities across the business.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Excellent experience of Investment Operations
• Good experience across fixed income, Cash instruments, derivatives, equities and ETFs
• Strong Experience of the Bloomberg OMS/PMS
• Wide ranging experience of investment management business and technology functions
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Professional qualifications (IOC, IMC) is preferred

• Document the current state, proposed outcome and design target operating models that support new platforms and processes
• Assess implementation options, influencing stakeholders to select most appropriate solutions
• Define detailed business and systems requirements in conjunction with users and developers, using Agile tools and techniques where appropriate
• Define and design simple, automated and resilient solutions where possible
