JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview
Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations and interacts with internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
Duties include functions related to data entry, archiving, monitoring, researching, and machine troubleshooting. Process home office business while serving as a liaison between sales associates, clearing firm, internal departments, and other applicable entities. Research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate. May have the opportunity to recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production. Responsible for performing all assigned functions in accordance rules and regulations, and/or policies and procedures, established by the FINRA, SEC, OCC, US Bank, Compliance Department, and other applicable guidelines.
The function of this position will include establishing new account and performing multitude of maintenance on accounts, of various registration types. Reviewing documentation provided to determine completeness and policy requirements are met. Reviewing and monitoring various daily reports. Performing a variety of clerical duties related to mail; creating, sorting, processing return mail and/or delivering mail. Order and control inventory of supplies. Ability to lift 10 lbs. bags/boxes of mail or supplies, sit for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four or more years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced knowledge of the investment operations within the assigned area
  • Thorough knowledge of the computer applications used in the assigned area
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to operate various types of office equipment
  • Strong customer service and relations skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
  • Advanced mathematical and/or accounting skills
  • Good data entry skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
