Description
Responsibilities Independently answer questions regarding proprietary valuations and nonproprietary prices. Conduct analysis and provide support for control exceptions. Responsible for calculating unit values and ensuring all prices required for our platform are received each day. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members. Support initiatives through participation in projects, development and implementation of new initiatives, and process reviews and/or system improvements. Independently resolve problems related to prices on our platform. Follow compliance rules, ensure readiness for trading, reconciliation, and/or pricing process. Identify and resolve issues associated with price errors, tolerance breaks, and/or compliance breaches. Prepare reports and keep controls in alignment with internal policies and clients' needs. Work with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, administration, mutual fund companies, IT, banks, broker dealers, custodians, sub advisors, outside vendors, regulatory agencies and/or industry contracts to educate, provide direction, acquire information and resolve problems. Provide monthly control reporting data and sample evidence of process completion with quality controls to risk partners as needed. Work with risk partners to correct errors or add risk mitigation. • This opportunity will focus on nightly pricing gathering, pricing and daily NAVs from our third-party relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 3+ years related experience required Degree in accounting, finance, economics or business preferred Experience in investment/mutual fund operations or related field preferred Knowledge of financial services and investment related terminology preferred PC and/or system skills Great organizational and problem-solving skills An excellent attention to detail Ability to plan and implement ideas rather than just coming up with them Willingness to be a subject matter expert and to own the process
