Tasks

We offer an internship opportunity from July 2025 onwards in our Frankfurt office to assist the investment team in its day-to-day activities:

• Take an active part in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including business analyses, fundamental and relative company valuation, financial modelling, commercial assessment, interviews with industry experts and more
• Research quantitative and qualitative data on target companies as well as their market segment and competitive environment
• Participate in the review of due diligence analyses in various areas including commercial, financial, tax, legal etc.
• Support all activities relating to investment committee processes
• Assist in portfolio management and monitoring of current Comitis Capital portfolio companies

Requirements

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristics:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and a team player
• Analytical and commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Strong academic background
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluency in both German and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant work experience in either private equity, venture capital, M&A, leveraged finance, strategy consulting or commercial / financial due diligence
