BII provides a platform for BlackRock’s portfolio managers to debate timely topics impacting markets - and disseminates actionable conclusions through internal summaries and client publications. BII research creates the core portfolio building blocks core to BlackRock’s mission to create a better financial future for people, companies and governments. This nimble, global team has outsized impact on BlackRock’s performance, commercial success and brand.

We are looking for a financial writer in early career stages or just starting out to join our publishing team in Abu Dhabi to produce groundbreaking thought leadership across media platforms.

WHY IS YOUR ROLE IMPORTANT?

The Abu Dhabi-based investment writer is part of the BlackRock Investment Institute’s (BII) publishing team. The person is responsible for producing investment insights for BlackRock clients and portfolio managers across media - for both internal and external audiences. This includes helping produce BII’s key publications on macro and portfolio construction research, our flagship Global Outlook deck as well as supporting BII’s array of other publications, digital tools and media engagements.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Writing, editing, data mining, fact-checking and designing BII publications across media platforms
• Interacting with senior BII staff and BlackRock portfolio managers to put together investment insights
• Partnering with Marketing, Media relations, Legal & Compliance and BlackRock’s Client Channels to amplify BII publications
