Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

PGIM launched an Irish domiciled UCITS platform in 2013 (PGIM Funds PLC) which currently has over $9 billion in assets across 29 funds managed by PGIM Fixed Income, PGIM Real Estate, Jennison and PGIM Quantitative Solutions. These assets have come from third parties as well as PGIM seed capital.
PGIM has taken a strategic decision to aggressively pursue asset raising opportunities, particularly in the global retail markets where it has not been prominent to date. PGIM will develop relationships with third party distributors outside the US, with a primary focus on EMEA but also seeking opportunities in Asia, Japan & South America.
PGIM Investments plans to realize its growth opportunities in Europe by building regional teams to cover the largest addressable markets. As PGIM’s asset management affiliates have separate sales team(s) who target institutional opportunities (sovereign wealth, pension, central bank) PGIM Investments International is keenly focused on UHNW intermediary opportunities, including private bank, family offices, unit linked, fund of funds and distribution platforms throughout the region(s).
As part of the firm’s global expansion, PGIM Investments International is looking to hire a Senior Associate to help support on Fund Administration and implementing distribution efficiencies across the UCITS fund platform. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Fund Administration and will be based in the firm’s satellite office in Dublin on a hybrid basis.

What you can expect

  • Oversight of sub custody market opening & maintenance for countries where the funds trade directly in local markets
  • Oversight of outsourced custody fund services, cash & position aged break review
  • Assist with oversight of outsourced European investor tax reporting, support to PGIM Tax team leader
  • Work with each investment management Affiliate on day to day requests, product events e.g. In Specie/TIK/fund launches/fund closures
  • Fund administration service review, SLA review & annual due diligence visits
  • Assist with oversight of fund administrator & external auditors in the production of annual and interim financial statements, ensuring all deadlines are met per the relevant timetables
  • Assist with oversight of NAV review on UCITS/QIF/ICAV funds (Alternative, Fixed Income, Equity funds) & error management with outsourced fund administrator
  • Assist with fund expense reviews, invoicing, fee billing
  • Assist with the oversight of outsourced fund services, including fund accountants, auditors and tax advisors
  • Assist with Ad hoc projects as needed to help management execute against business plan(s)

What you will bring

  • Experience with UCITS/QIF/ICAV fund structures, Equity, Fixed Income, Alternative funds
  • Relevant financial services experience, within a fund administration or investment operations capacity
  • Technical knowledge of custody, accounting, tax or regulatory reporting
  • Excellent attention to process and detail
  • Ability to multitask, work collaboratively in team environment as well as independently as a self-starter at times
  • Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs.
  • Stakeholder management, internal and external relationships including accountants, auditors and tax advisors
