JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of U.S. Bank’s Investor Relations team, the Investor Relations Analyst will support the execution of an effective investor communications strategy by supporting quarterly earnings and industry events, as well as financial analysis and deliverables for senior management. Analyst will look to develop strong understanding of sell-side investment community and models, investor presentations, and shareholder targeting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five or more years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
  • Strong technical skills to analyze data
  • Demonstrated expertise in investor relations field a plus

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains sell-side analyst models, previews, and sensitivities
  • Supports the earnings process by contributing to materials such as the earnings presentation, supporting documents, and peer analysis
  • Monitors industry developments and competitive market trends, develops executive summaries for senior leadership and the Board of Directors on peer company news, and performance.
  • Supports execution of a comprehensive target shareholder strategy
  • Partners with Competitive Intelligence team to analyze our business and our competitors to support effective communication of industry themes and address investor questions

THIS ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE OFFICE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS.
