Luca Mining Corp. is a Vancouver based mining company with operating mines in Mexico. We are seeking anInvestor Relations and Corporate Development Associate to join our fast-growing publicly listed company. Youwill be an integral member of a small team in Vancouver, directly reporting to both the CEO and Vice Presidentof Corporate Development.
We are looking for a motivated team player and results driven professional, who has sharp attention to detail andis ready and willing to represent and present our company to investors, analysts and corporate counterparties.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Support the CEO and Vice President of Business Development to effectively communicate the company’sassets, strategy, opportunities and value to investors, analysts and corporate counterparties
  • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic growth opportunities
  • Preparation of investor presentation materials, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist with the preparation and editing of Company press releases
  • Maintenance and promotion of the Company’s social media accounts and presence
  • Conduct research on mining projects and companies, preparing internal reports, memos and presentations
  • Preparation of financial models for mining projects and companies
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and capital markets activities to support corporate decision-making
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including internal executives, investors, analysts and corporate counterparties
  • Represent the Company at conferences, investor meetings, and other key industry events
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships

Requirements

  • University degree in business, finance, engineering, communications or geology
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Spanish language skills are not required but are considered an asset
  • Exceptional attention to detail and intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn quickly and independently
  • Able to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to multitask and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and ownership and pride in the quality of work
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint),SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat, with presentation, multi-media or video software a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
  • This role requires the successful candidate to work in the company’s downtown Vancouver offices 5days per week

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-5 years of geology, mining, capital markets, investment banking, equity research, or brokerageexperience an asset but not required
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint essential
  • Financial modelling skills a significant asset
    Salary, bonus and equity compensation, including stock options, will be competitive and commensurate with thesuccessful candidate’s experience. Comprehensive extended health and dental benefits will also be provided.
