JOB OVERVIEW

Eagle Plains Resources, founded in 1994, is a publicly traded junior exploration company headquartered in Cranbrook British Columbia, Canada. Eagle Plains operates in western Canada actively exploring over 50 mineral projects for precious, base and energy metals. The company also currently has two subsidiaries; one focussed on providing mineral exploration consulting services and the other on renewable energy project permitting.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a career with a well-established junior explorer under the tutelage of seasoned geological and geographical professionals. You will, for the most part, operate the marketing department independently with the guidance of management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three to five years of experience in a similar investor relations role, preferably in the mining industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or similar field;
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written), act proactively, positive attitude, operate independently, and a track record of success and growth;
  • Possess a high level of proficiency with computers preferably having experience with: Drupal Website Management Interface, Mailchimp, ArcGIS, Photoshop, Filmora, Powerpoint, Simple Booklet, Excel, Word, Zoom;
  • Dedicated, well-organized, and resourceful with a high level of attention to detail and able to manage confidential information;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a group setting.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with mining companies, capital markets, and exhibiting at conferences are considered as strong assets.

JOB DEMANDS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is based out of Eagle Plains’ Cranbrook office; and,
  • This position will require travel for investor events and occasional field work to assist with exploration programs and to gain hands on experience.
