Service Specialties Inc (SSI), Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing in Chantilly, VA is looking to add an organized Invoice Clerk to our growing team. This position is part time (5 days a week, 4 hours per day) position and provides continued training and development to make sure you succeed to your fullest potential with a competitive hourly pay. SSI, a family-owned service business, is a trusted expert in providing complete indoor air quality, HVAC, and Plumbing comfort solutions to homeowners in the Northern Virginia area since 1979.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year minimum of accounting experience
  • 3-4 years of office experience minimum
  • Must be an independent worker, and self-motivated
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HVAC terms is recommended but not a requirement

Responsibilities

SSI’s Invoice Clerk responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in all invoices. He or she will help to make sure that all goods or services described on incoming invoices were received and the invoice total paid in full in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include:

  • Audit invoices to ensure accurate billing
  • Batch all invoices after ensuring accuracy
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal departments
  • Follow-up on open balances and ensure payment in a timely manner
  • Special assignments as it relates to the accounting department
