Description

A global telecommunication company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven IoT/Connected Car Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives within our connected vehicle ecosystem. This role will be responsible for managing the development, integration, and launch of IoT solutions that enhance vehicle connectivity, telematics, and digital experiences.

IOT/CONNECTED CAR PROJECT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in IoT, automotive, or connected vehicle domains.
  • 3-5+ years of direct experience in new product development and introduction on one or more of the following technology areas: Mobility, Telematics, IoT, Network Access Devices.
  • Experience with Monday.com
  • Strong knowledge of connected car technologies, telematics platforms, and cloud-based services.
  • Ability to speak both English and Japanese is desired but not required
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Technical background or familiarity with embedded systems, APIs, or wireless protocols (e.g., LTE, 5G, Bluetooth) is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, up to 20%

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management for connected car and IoT initiatives, from concept through deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and external partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee integration of telematics systems, over-the-air updates, and vehicle-to-cloud communications.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including regular progress updates and issue escalation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Track project KPIs and performance metrics, leveraging analytics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-regional project coordination and alignment with global strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
