Ensure test coverage across device communication, message queuing, backend interfaces, and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. Testing Execution & Automation Validate integration with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure IoT Hub) and internal APIs. Test real-time telemetry, bidirectional messaging, and device provisioning processes. Use tools such as Postman, Wireshark, and Python-based automation to validate M2M workflows and data consistency. Systematic execution of the test plans, ensuring repeatability and thorough documentation. Critical thinking skills to accurately interpret test results and assess potential product impacts. Experience in replicating field conditions and environments to validate product behaviour under real-world constraints. Defect Management & Reporting Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. Collaborate with firmware, backend, and DevOps teams to resolve issues efficiently. Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed feedback to improve system stability using Confluence. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate testing in CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to the test automation roadmap and help scale quality assurance for large device fleets. Stay informed about M2M and IoT trends, emerging protocols, and testing frameworks. Qualifications Technical Expertise Solid experience in testing and handling of embedded systems, IoT/M2M devices, and backend APIs. Strong scripting skills (Python preferred) for test automation. Experience with testing tools such as Postman, Jira, SoapUI.
