Description Muncy, Geissler, Olds & Lowe PC, a fast-growing intellectual property law firm, is seeking a Temporary IP Admin Assistant to support our patent and trademark teams. This role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates interested in gaining experience in an IP legal environment. Training is provided. Key Responsibilities Daily Mail & Document Processing Reviewing, prioritizing, and processing incoming mail and email, including: Client correspondence Communications from foreign associates Communications from opposing counsel and other parties Incoming USPTO correspondence and filings Routing items to the appropriate attorneys and staff. Making database updates to reflect completion of tasks. Additional Duties Opening new matters and creating files Reviewing documents for completeness and compliance Preparing correspondence, reports, and invoices Proofreading documents Preparing and filing documents with the USPTO (training provided) Assisting with various administrative projects as needed About MG-IP MG-IP is an established, fast-growing IP boutique law firm offering a casual yet professional work environment and strong team culture. Requirements Required Skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong organizational, writing, and proofreading skills High attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; Excel a plus General computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems Ability to lift/carry at least 20 lbs High school diploma or GED required; college degree a plus Preferred (Not Required) Prior IP or law-firm experience Familiarity with patent or trademark processes
