Description
A technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, shall be responsible for assisting the professional nursing, medical and ancillary staff with activities of direct patient care. Upholds Northeastern Center's standards in maintaining quality consumer care.  With the direction of nursing staff, works within the framework of a multidisciplinary team approach.  Maintains a safe, clean environment, observes patient behavior, initiates therapeutic interaction and documents pertinent information.  Provides supportive services to promote optimal patient care. Education: High School education or equivalent Experience: Experience in the mental health field preferred. Licenses: Must possess a valid state issued  Driver’s License. Shift: first shift (72 hours), 3-12 hour days (Monday-Friday) and every other weekend 12 hour shifts. Salary is a fixed rate of pay at $17.09 hourly. Excellent benefits. EOE
