Responsibilities

As an IP Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage IP networks in the telecom domain, ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing infrastructure. You’ll configure network devices, troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, and collaborate with teams to meet technical requirements.

You will play a key role in:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Planning, designing, and implementing IP networks in telecom domain
  • Device Configuration and Management: Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Network Security: Implementing and maintaining network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and network access control (NAC).
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to ensure network stability and performance.
  • Documentation and Standardization: Documenting network configurations, procedures, and policies, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Working with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure network requirements are met.
  • IP Address Management: Auditing and managing IP addresses, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing network configurations.
  • Network Upgrades and Maintenance: Performing regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patching to ensure system stability and security.
  • Security Measures: Implementing security measures to protect network infrastructure and data from unauthorized access
