  • Previous IP experience across litigation support, contract review, legal analysis notes and working with a digital case management system.
  • You will be used to digital aspects of brand protection - online watch and takedown.

Responsibilities

As our IP Paralegal you will be responsible for:

  • Updating and using our case management system.
  • Using and reviewing in house technology to spot lookalikes and carrying out manual searches of online retailers.
  • Understanding the agreements we have in place to stop lookalikes and policing those agreements.
  • Weekly meetings with IP Counsel over lookalikes and agreeing next steps.
  • Discussing lookalikes with external IP counsel and sending out notice of breach where a settlement agreement has been breached.
  • Responsible for seasonal (manual) sweep campaign of key retailers and feeding back results/trends to IP team and various stakeholders in the business.
  • Working with IP Counsel to record our rights with Customs and working with customs globally (via agents) to reduce counterfeits.
  • Evidence gathering for litigation and trade mark registrations and assisting IP counsel generally as required, inclusive of Legal research on points of law.
  • Maintenance of infringing shoe database and coordinating access to physical storage of infringing shoes
