• o Detailed Knowledge in Data Centre infrastructureo Expert Knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security)o Expert Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies and others)o Expert Knowledge in routing protocols, VOIP technology, WLAN technology, DHCP, DNS, ADo Expert Knowledge in network management and network analysiso IP certification recommended (e.g. CCNA-CCNP-CCIE)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

JOB PURPOSE

• High Level and Low Level Design engineering and network design optimization:o Drive increased quality of our network end to endo Provide HLDs, LLDs, define templates, modularize and industrialize configuration items and their implementation.o Deploy the network fit for purpose including understanding of how our services/applications layer will run across the network (capacity, capability, utilisation)o Implement Virtualisation and segregation conceptso Conduct proof of concept (POC) validation
• Responsible for optimal implementation process that delivers ensured quality:o Achieve an harmonized & simplified network infrastructureo Supervision of external supporters and 3rd partieso Support, Test & Accept / Audit the deployed solutiono Hand over the accepted solution to Operations and Maintenanceo Define necessary test catalogues and test plans, document test & QA activitieso Manage and control the different existing test environmentso Deployment of the validated solution to its operational environment and deliver trainingo Planning of Changes and support of Change Management Processo Drive knowledge transfer and technical skill development within Network Implementation team
• Responsible for budget definition and execution for the assigned activities
• Responsible to ensure a network documentation
• Responsible to ensure network harmonisation and standardization across the Region / the local market
