As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will apply your expertise in electrical engineering and HW validation, collaborating with our global System EE team to directly impact the experience of millions of iPhone users worldwide. We are a collaborative and passionate team, dedicated to creating products that delight our customers. DESCRIPTION In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the electrical validation of iPhone hardware, from the earliest prototypes through to mass production and launch. You will collaborate closely with the global System EE team and lead our Contract Manufacturing (CM) hardware validation partners to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, with a deep understanding of best practices for test setup and signal/power integrity measurement. Experience in validating high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DisplayPort) and low-speed interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI). Experience with power validation, including DC-DC power solutions and power management systems. Strong hands-on lab skills for debugging complex hardware issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of direct experience in a hardware validation role. Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and system integration, with experience in consumer electronics, mobile phones, or other embedded systems. A curious and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving. Proven ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A genuine passion for shipping high-quality products at scale. Scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, C, Lua, MATLAB) for test automation and data analysis is a significant advantage.
