Your role We are looking for an IPR Assistant to join Orion’s in‑house IPR team. In this role, you will provide hands‑on operational support in IPR matters, working closely with Patent and Trademark Counsels, external patent attorneys and internal stakeholders such as R&D, Legal and Finance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the full IPR lifecycle, operating from invention disclosures and name generation to grant and portfolio maintenance in an international in‑house environment. You will also contribute to the development of more efficient and digital ways of working. The role is full-time and permanent, and you will report to Director, IPR. The position is based in Espoo with the possibility of hybrid working.  Responsibilities * Patent and trademark administration and portfolio support with handling invention disclosures, documentation, inventor assignments and rewards * Supporting in patent priority, PCT, EP, national and regional filings, including formalities, powers of attorney, assignments and coordination with patent offices and external counsel * Maintaining IP management systems, monitoring deadlines and official communications * Supporting national phase entries, validations, grants, renewals, withdrawals and annuity payments * Assisting in trademark filings, renewals and correspondence * Handling invoicing, cost allocation, budget tracking and reporting related to IPR matters * Supporting IPR governance processes, meetings, documentation and archiving   What you can expect from us * A key supporting role in Orion’s IPR operations * Broad exposure to international patent and trademark work * A skilled and supportive IPR team * Opportunities for professional growth and development within IPR   At Orion Pharma, your work creates true impact and well-being for our customers, patients and society at large.  Our culture of friendliness, respect, mutual appreciation and diversity creates a safe working environment where you can strive for excellence. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: * Suitable education in law, business administration, IPR or similar * Experience in IP administration, patent assistance or paralegal work * Good understanding of patent and trademark processes and formalities * Very good English skills; Finnish is required * Systematic, detail‑oriented and comfortable working with deadlines * Collaborative mindset and strong service orientation   Considered an asset * Experience in an in‑house IPR team, pharmaceutical or regulated industry * Familiarity with IPR docketing and document management systems * Technological savviness with an interest in digital tools, process automation, reporting or system development * Willingness to improve and modernize ways of working   How to apply Please submit your resume and application letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are the best candidate to become our new colleague by 23 April 2026.
