Description
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Signal Processing, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field. Deep knowledge of video or audio compression techniques and standards (for example HEVC, VVC, AVC, EVS, IVAS) and familiarity with codec tools such as intra/inter prediction, transform coding, loop filters, entropy coding, rate-control, and perceptual metrics. Experience in codec R&D, standardisation contributions, or detailed technical analysis of media compression algorithms is highly valued. Strong analytical and technical writing skills; experience preparing claim charts or equivalent technical documentation. Good collaboration and communication skills across R&D, standards, and commercial teams. Familiarity with patent concepts, or strong willingness to learn them. Describe your relevant technical experience, contributions to standards or R&D, and any patent or licensing-related work you have performed.
