How you will do it: Financial Excellence: lead the team to achieve excellence in operations and optimum profit. Development and implementation of branch budgets in line with company goals and strategic objectives, and effective communication of those plans to the team. Monthly financial forecasts and reporting. Asset management – including Accounts Receivable reduction & Accounts Payable maximization. Achieve financial objectives including executed revenue, margin & EBIT Co-ordinates with vendors and suppliers as needed with the support and involvment of the procurement team and sourcing board. Customer Satisfaction: leverage customer feedback and relationships to align the Project delivery to their needs and satisfaction levels. Maintains strong relationships with C-level leaders within the customer and sub-contractor network. Implementing processes to ensure client relationships are developed and maintained, managing individual client relationships where necessary. Customer satisfaction target NPS. Managing stakeholders effectively and driving continuous improvement across the value chain. Operational Excellence: develop and ensure compliance to business processes to enable effective and productive operations Ensure business processes and controls are in place to ensure efficient and effective running of operations. Provides leadership and oversight to the entire team to ensure Projects are delivered in line with financial targets. Ensure financial controls are in place. Measure results of staff regularly. Ensures commercial contractual compliance with the agreed terms of sale, managing the resolution of any issues with stakeholders. Conducts regular project reviews and provides written feedback to team members regarding their performance on the project (direct and sub-contractor). Analyse problem areas and takes corrective actions as necessary. Ensures that installation projects are completed on time, within budget and quality standards. Serves as a focal point for escalated problem resolution during the project delivery. Resource Planning: plan and ensure the adequacy of resources (manpower, tools etc) to enable the branch to meet planned objectives Resource planning, development, and management. Performs supervisory duties, which include but are not limited to, coaching, developing, and providing feedback to team members regarding their performance. Develop existing staff through training needs assessment and development planning. Building and leading a professional team and being responsible for associated reward, recognition, development, and training programs for all reports in line with company policy and practice goals and strategic objectives, and effective communication of those plans to the team. Promoting effective communication throughout the Branch and resolving any problems and conflicts that arise. Compliance: 100% compliance to Johnson Controls Safety Health & Environment Management System (SHEMS) Ensuring compliance with all JCAPL policies and procedures. Ethics Compliance – ensuring the Branch complies with all aspects of the JCI Ethics Policy. EHS & Q Compliance What are we looking for: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering. Minimum 20 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration and project management. Extensive P&L leadership experience of a Branch/business. Ideally, operational experience in installation and/or field operations. Extensive Industrial Refrigeration installation project management experience. Good knowledge of large refrigeration systems. Ideally experience with large industrial refrigeration which is maybe PLC controlled, ammonia refrigeration with complex heat exchanger evaporators, pumps, variable speed drives etc. Focused, collaborative and passionate about the execution of projects, and thrives in complex environments. Strong project management track record, and committed to quality outcomes with customers and stakeholders, delivering projects on time and on budget. Strong leadership/supervisory skills with an ability to influence team collaboration focused on outcomes. Excellent analytical / problem solving and interpersonal skills. Commercial contractual competence with a proven capability to mitigate and manage conflict to resolution. Advanced computer / MS Windows skills, to include software applications such as MS Projects, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc. Strong understanding of construction management methodology & principles Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills A high level of organisational and time management skills An ability to be flexible to adapt to ever changing environments Johnson Controls: Enhancing the Intelligence of Buildings Your buildings have a purpose.
