PAY: $80-$82/hr Position: IR Neuro Rad Technician WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IR Neuro Rad Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment during interventional procedures focused on neurovascular assessment and treatment. Please call Kaitlyn at 585-313-4951 for more information. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for neuro-interventional procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns. Assist the interventional radiologist during various disorders and configure imaging equipment to achieve optimal results. Conduct imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnotic images are captured safely. Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures and promptly report any changes to the medical team. Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed and images captured. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control procedures, and departmental standards. Work Environment: 4x 10hr Days with weekends, on-call/callback and holiday coverage as needed. 1-2 call shifts a week and 1-2 weekends of call/month Qualifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, specifically in Neuro IR. Must hold a valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license or be able to obtain prior to starting. Preferred: Certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR).
