WE’RE HIRING: IRATA TECHNICAL AUTHORITY

Location: Dubai, UAE

Do you live and breathe rope access safety and compliance?
Spider Access is on the lookout for a seasoned IRATA Technical Authority to ensure our rope access operations remain safe, compliant, and industry-leading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Rope Access Management System
  • Ensure compliance with IRATA ICOP, TACS, Bylaws, and local legislation
  • Act as the primary technical expert for all rope access matters
  • Disseminate IRATA updates and safety protocols to management, supervisors, and technicians
  • Oversee incident reporting and maintain transparent communication with IRATA
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and rescue plans
  • Manage the procurement, traceability, and inspection of rope access equipment
  • Ensure safety remains at the core of all rope access operations

Requirements:

  • Current IRATA Level 3 certification
  • 2–5 years’ experience as a Technical Authority
  • 5–10 years’ experience as an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of rope access management systems and IRATA compliance
  • Proven leadership in the rope access field, with a strong safety-first mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage all levels of the organization
