Description Position Overview Palm House is seeking a courteous, detail-oriented, and service-driven?In Room Dining Server?to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms efficiently, accurately, and with the highest standard of guest service. As the face of in-room dining, your professionalism and attention to detail will directly impact the guest experience.? Key Responsibilities Promptly deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a professional and timely manner. ? Set up trays and trolleys according to Palm House presentation standards. ? Review orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness. ? Greet guests courteously and confirm order details upon delivery. ? Ensure all items (condiments, utensils, napkins) are included with orders. ? Handle guest requests or concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed. ? Retrieve used trays and maintain cleanliness in hallways and service areas. ? Assist with in-room dining phone orders when needed. ? Communicate effectively with kitchen, front-of-house, and housekeeping teams. ? Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures. ? Uphold Palm House’s values and commitment to exceptional guest service at all times. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in room service, hospitality, or food & beverage preferred ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ? Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment ? Professional appearance and demeanor ? Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts ? Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred ? Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours or more). ? Must be able to push/pull room service carts weighing up to 100 lbs. ? Must be able to lift and carry trays or items up to 30 lbs. ? Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping required. ? Must be able to navigate stairs and walkways while carrying items. ? Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on guest location.

Responsibilities

The In Room Dining Server is primarily responsible for efficiently and accurately delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms while maintaining the highest standard of guest service. This includes setting up trays according to standards, confirming order details with guests, and ensuring all necessary accompaniments are included.
