Conco Construction, a self-performing regional leader in the commercial construction industry is seeking an Iron Worker Foreman. This position will lead a crew of 5-6 individuals in various steel structure and metal building projects. A successful candidate will be driven, collaborative, and an excellent communicator. Responsibilities: Manage a crew of 5-6 iron workers Competent in all areas of steel erecting and structural steel processes Enforce safety expectations with all Conco employees at all times Provide coaching and feedback to crew on performance & conduct Work with Craft & Jobsite Superintendent to establish production goals and quality standards Lead crews and hold them accountable to meet production & quality goals on a weekly basis Work with Craft Superintendent & Jobsite Superintendent to manage weekly labor variances Expected to train and develop all crew members Qualifications: 2+ years in a construction management role 5+ years in experience in metal erecting Experience with reading blue prints, ordering materials, and managing inspections Ability to work at ease at elevated heights Other considerations: All offers of employment are conditioned by successfully passing a background check, drug screen and physical Wages are based on experience and performance Must be able to work outside the normal operating hours (7am-4pm, winter/fall 7am-3:30pm, spring/summer) Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently Must be able to work outdoors and stand for majority of the day Must be able to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling WHY CONCO?
