JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the construction and assembly of metal structures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in ironworking or a related field within manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, is essential.
  • Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes for metal structures is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position heavy materials using cranes.
  • Conduct machining operations as needed to ensure precise dimensions for metal components.
  • Utilize calipers and basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
  • Install ductwork and other metal components in various construction environments.
