We are seeking motivated, hardworking Iron Workers Welders with experience in construction for projects in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Eligible for CWB qualification or internationally certified welding programs.
• Minimum 2+ year(s) experience as an iron worker or welder.
• Knowledge of common methods, materials, tools/equipment for the role.
• Possession of a valid Manitoba Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operators License and own transportation to and from site required.

• Erect and install structural steel and miscellaneous metals components in construction job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols: fabrication and construction drawings, erection diagrams.
• Align, weld or bolt units in place.
• Able to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
• Assist cranes and operator with lifting materials for installation.
• Operate man lifts and other miscellaneous job equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and work in a team environment.
