Landscaping by J. Michael is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team! If you’re hands-on, dependable, and take pride in doing quality work, you’ll fit right in here. We’re looking for someone who knows irrigation systems inside and out, enjoys problem-solving, and genuinely cares about delivering great results. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role in keeping our clients’ landscapes running smoothly by: Installing irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties Handling seasonal work like spring start-ups and fall winterizations/shutdowns Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing existing systems Maintaining and repairing components like sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, lines, and control panels Reading and working from irrigation plans and layouts Setting up job sites, ordering materials, and keeping projects on track Completing paperwork and job reports accurately Operating equipment like trenchers, pullers, trucks, tampers, and other tools What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: Has at least 3 years of hands-on irrigation experience Understands irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair Can read and interpret plans and technical drawings Is comfortable working outdoors and operating equipment daily Stays organized and can manage job sites, materials, and reporting Works well with others and maintains a professional attitude Has a valid driver’s license and DOT card (Bonus) Holds a CIT certification What You’ll Get We take care of our team and offer: Paid time off Health insurance Retirement plan Boot reimbursement (up to $100) Bonus opportunities Training incentives Pay increases for licenses and certifications Annual merit reviews Real opportunities for growth and advancement
