This job provides technical expertise, workflow training and support to end users in multiple settings. Participates in/leading usability testing, Epic implementations, efficiency sessions, formal classroom training, one-on-one education, department-based education sessions, troubleshooting and problem resolution. Consults with users to identify current-state operating goals to optimize the Epic systems.

EDUCATION

Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required - 3 years of experience in education, healthcare, information technology, customer service or related field;
OR
1 year of Epic experience;
OR
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred – 1 year of Epic software experience.
1 year of EMR implementation experience.
1 year of relevant project management experience.
1 year of clinical experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Excellent business writing, interpersonal, written and public speaking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ability to use technology and explain it to others.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Organizational, time management, and project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet required deadlines.
  • Analytical skills and ability to use logical thought processes in order to formulate solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts and drive at night.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities (which may include overnight stay).
Responsibilities
  • Provides Epic education and end-user support during and after the implementation/onboarding process.
  • Partners and communicates with assigned customers and end users to assess goals and needs.
  • Participates in problem identification and resolution activities.
  • Maintains expertise in assigned Epic applications, enterprise-wide applications, and departmental workflows.
  • Provides support for Epic implementations, relevant applications, and organizational initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
