SUMMARY:

A leading financial institution is seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of its Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives Documentation group. The role will focus on Interest Rate and Credit Derivative products, ensuring accurate and timely processing of documentation in accordance with industry standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in OTC Derivatives documentation, with an emphasis on Interest Rate products.
  • Strong understanding of ISDA documentation standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and operate under tight deadlines.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience using electronic confirmation platforms such as Markitwire and TradeServ.
  • Familiarity with market conventions related to Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives.
Responsibilities
  • Draft and review paper confirmations for Interest Rate products in line with industry protocols.
  • Process and review electronic confirmations via platforms such as Markitwire and TradeServ.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with applicable industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Front Office, Operations) and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and track outstanding confirmations, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to testing and implementation of systems or process enhancements.
  • Assist with special projects and provide training to team members as needed.
