SOCOTEC is seeking for an ISO Consultant (M/F) in part time (40% to 60%, to be discussed)
Job Description
The Consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality ISO management systems consultancy services to SOCOTEC clients, with a specific focus on ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
The role requires end-to-end involvement in developing, implementing, and maintaining management systems, while upholding the standards of the company and ensuring client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in consultancy, auditing, or implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and ADPHC compliant management systems.
  • Proven experience in the development, implementation, and auditing of ISO management systems.
  • Knowledge and practical application of UAE regulatory frameworks and standards.
  • Membership with Quodorat or other recognized professional bodies is essential.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

The Consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality ISO management systems consultancy services to SOCOTEC clients :

  • Deliver consultancy and internal audit services in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 to ensure clients meet certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement Integrated Management Systems (IMS) tailored to client operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive gap analyses, document reviews, internal audits, and management system readiness checks.
  • Lead and facilitate certification processes, including liaising with external certification bodies.
  • Provide technical HSE support including risk identification, controls implementation, and compliance monitoring aligned with ADPHC Framework and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
  • Utilize digital tools for inspections, reporting, and workflow optimization.
  • Maintain and uphold Quodorat and other professional memberships.
  • Serve as a peer reviewer to assure the quality of consultancy deliverables across the team.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, strategy sessions, and client briefings.
  • Develop and deliver customized training programs to enhance awareness, support implementation, and ensure compliance with ISO standards, including HSE and risk management requirements.
