Description
SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport portion of NGEN-R, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
The SMIT MCEN program for Leidos currently has an opening for an ISP/OSP Specialist Junior to work at our Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii customer site. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the SMIT-MCEN mission. The ISP/OSP Specialist Junior will operate tools and equipment (including all necessary protective equipment) required to install, repair, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling, associated media, and related infrastructure.

Basic Requirements:

  • High School diploma with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) standards.

$35.00/hour - $40.00/hour
