Our IT team plays a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and innovative technology services that support the operations of the Australian Human Rights Commission. They manage the Commission’s IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud-based and on-premises systems, to ensure uninterrupted access to critical applications, network services, and data management platforms.
We are looking for an experienced, creative problem-solver who thrives on designing intuitive, refined, and user-centric digital experiences. This role leads the development of modern, streamlined solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, transforming manual processes and disconnected systems into cohesive, intelligent platforms that empower staff and enhance service delivery.
You will be a digital craftsperson at the heart of our transformation journey, translating business needs into elegant, sustainable solutions that are not only functional but also engaging and easy to use. Your work will directly shape how our organisation collaborates, shares knowledge, and makes data-driven decisions, supporting our broader goal of delivering inclusive, accessible, and meaningful digital services for the Australian public.
This full-time, ongoing / non ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $115,892 - $129,580per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions using SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing solutions and ensure data integrity and accuracy across all solutions.
  • Provide training and support to users on how to effectively use Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Work closely with IT team and business teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions and provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions including user manuals, training, and knowledge bases for end-users and admins.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory Requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft Power Platform technologies and best practices.
