Description:
Ardingly College has a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant to join our IT department, providing essential administrative support to colleagues in this area of the school. The role consists of supporting the technical team by carrying out administrative duties to support the department, whilst ensuring high levels of organisation and time management. The post holder will also assist in providing support with data protection and document retention.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level, with previous administrative experience of working in a busy office environment. They should have excellent customer service skills and be IT literate in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure are also key skills for this role.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (including a 30-minute paid lunch break), usually Monday to Friday, 34 weeks per year (term-time only). Flexibility required to support the needs to the helpdesk and College.
Rate of Pay: £18,672 (inclusive of paid holiday entitlement)
