Exciting: Your tasks

• Technical support: You will be responsible for the specialist software ProsozBau as well as various GIS applications and databases (e.g. GeoShop, WebGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, ALKIS) for our association administrations and ensure stable and secure operation.
• Troubleshooting and support: They analyze complex malfunctions – especially at the interface between application and IT infrastructure – and resolve them in 2nd-level support, if necessary in cooperation with 3rd-level support.
• System administration and operation: You will be responsible for the administration, configuration and further development of the associated systems and servers, and will ensure secure and high-performance operation through monitoring and server patching.
• Updates and further development: They evaluate updates, releases and patches, plan software updates and conduct tests to continuously improve our applications.
• Integration and infrastructure: They ensure the integration of applications into the existing IT infrastructure – via Windows Terminal Server, Application Server and Web Server – and coordinate closely with internal departments.
• Workflows and user management: They provide support with user rights (including AD synchronization), manage digital workflows, and participate in the central software distribution of clients.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer: You create documentation and instructions and independently familiarize yourself with new functions and modules.

Matching: Your profile

• Qualifications: You have a degree in (business) informatics or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration and several years of practical experience in complex IT infrastructures or bring comparable expertise and experience.
• IT expertise: You have several years of practical experience in the administration and operation of Windows, LINUX server and client environments, as well as sound knowledge of current LINUX and Microsoft client and server technologies in the network and server environment.
• Language skills: You have very good German skills (at least C1 level) in both spoken and written form.
• Analytical competence: You analyze technical issues in a structured manner, quickly recognize connections and develop practical, sustainable solutions.
• Sense of responsibility: You maintain an overview of technical requirements and coordinate measures to ensure consistently high software availability and IT security, as well as stable operation.
• Communication and customer focus: You work in a service-oriented manner, communicate clearly with different contacts, and impress with your teamwork skills and strong customer focus.
