QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas is essential.
  • Experience in SAP (Crystal Reports), coding (Python, SQL, or similar) and using AI technologies desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Procurement and Product Strategy Manager/Sales Improvement Analyst by providing accurate data insights. Create and maintain detailed reports for sales performance, stock levels, and supplier metrics.
  • Utilize coding skills to create custom tools and dashboards for data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all product, inventory, and procurement data is accurately entered and updated in the relevant systems.
  • Assist the Buying Office with day-to-day administrative tasks, including order processing, filing, and correspondence.
  • Help maintain schedules, deadlines, and key deliverables within the department.
  • Support tracking of stock levels across stores and flag discrepancies or reordering needs to the team.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of purchase orders.
  • Use data to create a strategic distribution plan in order to monitor and optimise tile performance.
  • Replace underperformers with products to meet sales trends, customer demographics and regional demand.
  • Work closely with buyers and the Procurement and Product Strategy Manager/Sales Improvement Analyst to provide data and administrative support.
