JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Administrator for our client; a small foreign bank based in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems, and providing support to users. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree, with related IT experience of minimum ten years. OR Bachelor’s degree, with related IT experience of minimum five years

Responsibilities
  • Provide hardware/software technical and help desk support by providing support to the end users and coordinating with vendors in connection with concerns and issues.
  • Manage Applications, Active Directory, VMWare and perform network administration for core and LAN systems, including but not limited to establishing / amending / disabling / reinstating system access codes for bank’s employees as approved by access request procedure.
  • Administer all Microsoft 365 environments: its configuration, security, monitoring and reporting
  • Assist IT Department in developing the strategy and design for the bank’s IT infrastructure, determine software/hardware needs of the Bank, ensure compatibility and functionality with all vendor software and upgrade, and maintain systems, as necessary.
  • Maintain Network Security of Internal Network and External Firewalls
  • Support virtualization technologies, particularly ESXi, to optimize server resources.
  • Responsible for Inventory Management and assistance in Patch Management: documentation, remediation of all technology related systems and equipment
  • Manage Office equipment, including but not limited to Printers, Scanners, and Fax Machines.
