The on-site IT Administrator is a hands-on, operationally focused role responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day IT services across the organization. This position plays a critical role in end-user support, endpoint protection, and the stability of hardware and infrastructure, serving as the first line of support for employees while working closely with the IT Manager and Global Group IT team. The IT Administrator is responsible for digital workplace reliability, user experience, cybersecurity hygiene, and operational excellence. This role is not remote. It will be on-site in the Frederick, Maryland office Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5 PM. · Delivers reliable, secure, user-focused IT services that enable a productive digital workplace. · Supports employees across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and corporate functions with modern digital tools. · Manages end-user devices, collaboration platforms, and technology that underpin daily digital operations. · Owns endpoint protection, patching, and device compliance—supporting secure digitalization. · Supports onboarding, offboarding, hardware lifecycle management, and asset tracking. · Acts as a key operational link between users, the IT Manager, and Group IT. · Helps execute system rollouts and adoption of new digital tools and platforms. Requirements Education & Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience in an IT support, IT administrator, or technical support role is required. Experience in a manufacturing or multi-department business environment is a plus. Relevant certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or similar) preferred. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on knowledge of end-user hardware, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. Solid understanding of endpoint protection, patching, antivirus, device management, and basic cybersecurity principles. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications. Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN). Experience supporting IT infrastructure and collaborating with senior IT or Group IT teams. Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple support requests, and work independently. Must be authorized to work in the United States This role is not remote.
