Description

IT Administrator

National Transport and 3PL company seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee our day-to-day IT operations, vendor relationships, and systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, while also contributing to the long-term improvement and direction of our systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

·        Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT operations, working closely with the managed services providers

·        Monitor and manage service delivery against SLAs, escalating and resolving issues where required

·        Provide hands-on support across Microsoft systems, users, infrastructure, warehouse management and transport management software when needed

·        Maintain relationships with key technology vendors and coordinate hardware and software procurement

·        Assist in maintaining and executing the IT roadmap in line with business requirements

·        Identify and implement practical improvements to systems, processes, and user experience

·        Maintain cybersecurity controls including user access, backups, and endpoint protection

·        Monitor system performance, risks, and vulnerabilities, and take proactive corrective action

·        Deliver and support system upgrades, implementations, and small-to-large IT projects

Experience and qualifications: 

·        Hands-on experience supporting IT systems including Windows server, Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and end users

·        Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead, or senior systems administration role

·        Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks and stakeholders

·        Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users

·        High level of ownership, with a proactive approach and pride in delivering quality outcomes
