Description Riverside Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a full-time IT Administrator to join our team. Job Summary: Do you love solving problems that others can’t fix? The ideal candidate will have experience explaining complex solutions to intricate problems and will thrive on helping people. What You’ll Be Doing: Providing technical assistance and support for users, computer systems, software, and hardware Training users on basic computer usage Maintaining computer systems and complex networks Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, peripherals, and software Running diagnostic programs and asking questions to determine the nature of a problem Resolving technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems Responding to users seeking help via email, chat, and phone calls as well as providing deskside support Using industry standard management tools, event monitoring, and ticket management Performing other related duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Need: High school diploma or GED required (prefer college degree in Computer Science, Network Administration, or 5+ years' experience in similar role) Demonstrable proficiency in Windows desktop and server Operating Systems, Linux, Microsoft Office applications, common PC hardware, server-class hardware, enterprise-class storage systems, firewalls, and networking equipment, M365, and Azure Experience managing relational databases, web servers, and enterprise applications A+, Network+ certifications preferred but not required Must be available for varying shifts depending on need Must be able to participate in on-call/after-hours support Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently within a team Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license Ability to travel when required Must have ability to lift 60 lbs. as well as know and use proper lifting techniques Must be able to pass drug screening and background check Punctuality and tenacity required What You Can Look Forward to: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) with match, medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a generous PTO plan.
