Your task – more than classic administration

You see yourself not only as an administrator, but also as a technical sparring partner and consultant. You ensure that modern IT infrastructures are operated securely, stably, and efficiently, and you continuously develop them further.

In this role, you will work closely with the various IT teams and actively contribute your experience to architectural decisions and demanding infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Planning, installation, configuration and further development of modern server and network environments
• Operation and optimization of complex Microsoft server environments
• Contributing to the design and further development of the IT architecture
• Administration and support of:
• Active Directory (AD DS)
• DNS
• DHCP
• DFS
• Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• File and print services
• Citrix
• Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Planning and execution of updates, migrations and automation projects
• Ensuring stable and secure IT operations
• Analysis and resolution of complex malfunctions in 2nd and 3rd level support.

qualification

• Several years of professional experience as an IT system administrator or server administrator
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft server technologies and Windows infrastructures
• Experience in operating complex Active Directory environments
• Expertise in virtualization, server operation and IT infrastructure
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
• Enjoyment of customer contact and of explaining technical matters in an understandable way.
• Team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to actively shape things.
• Class B driving licence required for use in the company's own pool vehicle at the municipalities being served.
• Very good German skills
