JOB SUMMARY
As an IT Advanced Performance Quality Analyst you will provide professional knowledge, skills, and leadership in load and performance testing of application software and systems. This role includes skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which ensures that a software solution will be designed, implemented, and operationally supported to meet the non-functional requirements for performance (such as throughput, latency, or memory usage). This includes the quality of the coding itself and not just the outcome of the application execution. This position promotes appropriate testing methodologies, striving to identify and manage defects in the software systems.
Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester duties performed by this position are typically more complex and of a larger scope than those led by less experienced Quality Assurance Analysis/Testing staff. The QA staff at this level require minimal direction, coaching, and mentoring when leading the quality assurance/analysis for projects.
ITS4 IT Performance Quality Analyst have advanced expertise. Duties performed by this position are complex and involve forward thinking while continually focused on solving system problems with a broad view of the IT landscape. The Senior QA Performance Engineer staff at this level require minimal direction, coaching, and mentoring when leading the load and performance testing efforts for any given project. Due to its required deep technical knowledge, it is expected that this position will continue to advance what is already in place and to continually create new solutions for load and performance testing.
This is a Remote Worker position, where the employees home address shall serve as their official work location and must be located within the continental United States. Remote work is a condition of employment.

This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in performing IT quality analysis functions.
Experience must include:
A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.
