MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field and 7 years of work experience (5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience).

With a Bachelor’s degree, must have 5 years of experience in the following:

• Strategic Big Data initiatives, focused in financial services.
• Architecting Big Data applications using a minimum of 3 of the following Hadoop technologies: Spark, MapReduce, YARN, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Oozie, HBase, Elasticsearch, Elk or Cassandra.
• Working with Business Intelligence teams, Data Integration developers, Data Scientists, and Analysts and DBA’s to deliver well-architected and scalable Big Data & Analytics eco-system.
• Event stream processing technologies such as Spark streaming, Storm, Akka, or Kafka.
• At least one programming language (Java, Scala, R or Python).
• At least one major Hadoop platform (Cloudera, Hortonworks, or MapR).
• At least one Next Gen database (distributed, graph, MongoDB, Couchbase or NoSql).
• Experience in one or more of the following architectures:

o Service Oriented Architecture such as: SOA Architectures and Solutions, or Microservices based Architectures and Solutions.
o Designed and developed business solutions on one or more of the following platforms: AWS, GCP or Azure.

o Transformation or migration of an existing solution from legacy to cloud based platforms.

• Agile delivery methodology.

Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field and 5 years of work experience.

With a Master’s degree, must have 3 years of experience in the following:

• Strategic Big Data initiatives, focused in financial services.
• Architecting Big Data applications using a minimum of 3 of the following Hadoop technologies: Spark, MapReduce, YARN, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Oozie, HBase, Elasticsearch, Elk or Cassandra.
