Join our team as an IT Airport Engineer and show your passion for solving IT problems with good customer service engagement. You will provide and maintain continuity of service for all components of the Airport passenger processing system and resolve any technical issues, including more complex issues requiring specialist knowledge, that may occur.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift or push 20-40 kilograms of equipment if needed.
  • Able to stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Able to use mechanical tools.
Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals, carry out regular routine and preventative maintenance on the range of passenger processing equipment within the airport.
  • Supply and replace IT consumables, such as paper and ink toner, when required
  • Troubleshoot within Windows / iOS / Android OS support, software installations, and security updates.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Respond to customer incidents and service requests assigned by the Global Service Desk / Line Manager. Troubleshoot and resolve within SLA, Airline host and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain a high level of communication at all times with both colleagues and senior members of staff and provide timely updates to the Global Service Desk as required. Updating call details in a timely manner.
  • Consistently provide updates to the ESP Service Desk and end users on all live incidents and service requests
  • Carry out regular “floor-walking” and pro-active line of sight checks/ routine preventive maintenance to identify, log, and resolve any issues before they are raised as incidents through the Global Service Desk.
  • Mentor and train all Airport Technicians within your team.
