Job Summary The IT Analyst I provides entry-level technical support for users, systems, and network-related issues. This role is responsible for resolving helpdesk tickets, assisting with PC and printer setup, supporting basic application functions, and escalating complex issues as needed. The Analyst I is a key member of the front-line support team and contributes to documentation and user training. Essential Functions Responds to helpdesk tickets and user inquiries, resolving issues related to hardware, software, printers, and login credentials Assists with computer imaging, deployment, and setup for new hires or replacements Provides basic troubleshooting and support for Microsoft Office and other enterprise software Escalates unresolved technical problems to IT Analyst II or III Maintains inventory logs for hardware and software Participates in user orientation and basic IT training Maintains documentation for routine IT procedures and knowledgebase updates Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Office, and networked systems Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively Education High school diploma or GED required Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred Licenses/Certifications None Required Experience 1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role
