Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Analyst specialized in network security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with microsegmentation concepts and tools (ex: Illumio, Guardicore) and a good understanding of firewall principles, rules, and traffic flow. Knowledge of NSPM solution is a plus (ex: Tufin, Algosec, or Firemon). This role is focused on the daily operations of microsegmentation, ensuring optimal network security and performance. This role requires proficiency in firewall technologies and relevant experience.

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in a network position
  • Certifications: Relevant network and security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Network Analyst, network Administrator or similar role, with a focus on microsegmentation or with traffic flow analysis and understanding
  • Experience with microsegmentation tools and concepts (e.g. Illumio, Guardicore, VMware NSX, etc.).
  • Understanding of firewall principles, rules, and traffic flow. Experience with Cisco & Palo Alto is a plus.
  • Knowledge of NSPM solution is a plus (ex: Tufin, Algosec, or Firemon).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work beyond core business hours if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network/system modifications
  • Be part of on-call rotation
  • Available for occasional travel if required.
  • Bilingual (English/French), both oral and written
  • Have a valid driver’s license
    As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
